Note: This is an adults only event.

The evening will begin with a reception in the Kiewit Luminarium River Room from 6-7 pm followed by special access to the flex space area and some exhibit prototypes with Tom Rockwell. From 8-9 pm Fr. Spitzer, S.J. will present his talk: “Science at the Doorstep to God”. Afterwards attendees are welcome to explore the Luminarium and enjoy Night Light programming.

This is a private event sponsored by Creighton University at the Kiewit Luminarium. Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J.’s talk is the kick-off event for the Creighton conference on the Reconciliation of Science and Religion, which will be held the following day on Creighton’s campus in the Mike and Josie Harper Center from 8 am – 5 pm. Admission to the Luminarium is included with this event. All attendees must register by Wednesday, April 3rd at noon.

Join us each month as we pray the rosary and then attend the 11:15 am Mass. Following Mass, we will pray the litanies and offer confession.

Dr. Derya Little, an acclaimed Catholic author and speaker, featured at SEEK 2024 and on Pints With Aquinas, will be giving her powerful testimony on her conversion from Islam. She will also take the time to discuss the new summer camp program being developed by Maur Hill Mount Academy in Atchison, KS. This event is for all middle schoolers, parents, and youth ministers. However, all are welcome to attend and hear her incredible story.

St. Augustine Indian Mission School in Winnebago, Nebraska, serves Kindergarten to eighth-grade students from the Omaha and Winnebago Tribes of Nebraska.

Relating to Others I have lots of “friends” on social media, but I barely know some of them. What is genuine friendship and how do I know who really is or isn’t my friend? About the Speaker...

Larry Chapp received his doctorate in theology from Fordham University in 1994, with a specialization in the theology of Hans Urs von Balthasar. He spent 20 years teaching theology at DeSales University near Allentown, Pennsylvania, before retiring early in order to found the Dorothy Day Catholic Worker Farm near Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, with his wife Carmina and friend and former student Father John Gribowich.

The Fellowship of Catholic Artists teams up with St. Vincent de Paul for their Spring Craft Fair to benefit St. Vincent's Divine Mercy Pantry.

Marion Miner of the Nebraska Catholic Conference, will unpack the abortion rights amendment's deceptive terminology and explain its implications.

Katherine Burow of the Abortion Dialogue Academy, will teach us how to have effective and fruitful conversations with others about this amendment. Light breakfast offerings will be available at 9 am with the rosary at 9:30 am followed by presentations.

Theme: Mary, Our Spiritual Mother Reflection: Featuring Dr. Mark Miravalle and others: Jesus said: “Behold Your Mother”. How has Mary impacted your life and who is Mary to you? Mary is a spiritual mother to every human being who are disciples of Jesus. Mary has united her heart with the suffering of her Son, but also she unites her heart with each of us. She is an advocate to her Son when we seek her intercession. This hour includes the recitation of the Rosary and availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Catholic recording artist Connor Flanagan and Special Guest Danny Leger will be performing a live concert. Connor is a former youth minister and now a full time Catholic hip-hop artist. He has been featured on Ascension Presents, performed at numerous conferences including Steubenville, and is stopping here on his tour this summer. Danny Leger is an Omaha based missionary and founder of the Hope of the Poor Ministry, which supports the homeless here in Omaha and around the world.

All Omaha-area college faculty and students graduating this year are invited to attend with their families. All graduates, please wear your regalia and arrive at 7:15pm to process in to Mass. There will be pews reserved for graduates and faculty at the front of the Oratory.

Saint Cecilia Cathedral in collaboration with Cathedral Arts Project presents this exhibit which illustrates Catholic imagination in the design and embellishment of garments and artifacts of the Catholic Church spanning more than three centuries. Gallery hours Tuesday-Saturday Noon-4 pm; Sunday 11:30 am-2:30 pm. Exhibit runs May 26 through August 4, 2024.
